Bike Miles - 43
Fiona turns two today! She got to choose her route for her walk, which means we went farther than usual. Just a little. It was a nice morning, even though it was a tad humid. She loves her present (a tough dog tug of war toy, which she and Margo are playing with as I write this).
Last night the girls were wrestling, and Fiona came up to me with blood on her face. After checking her for wounds, I found a puppy tooth (canine canine!) on the floor. Margot is teething again. About two hours later, looked down and saw the other puppy canine tooth on the floor. Our baby isn't much of a baby any more. A rather rambunctious "tween" is an apt description.
Nice bike ride, no weirdos which is always a treat for a Sunday morning. Seems like there are more drunks/freaks out on Sundays than Saturdays. Maybe Friday night doesn't have the same party appeal as it did when I was clubbing (back in the good old days). I passed a sparkle on the pavement -- definitely wasn't glass. Had I found a treasure? Stopped and picked it up to find what is likely a nice sized cubic zirconia. The setting is cheap--sterling silver---so it's probably not a diamond. Looks to be what was once an earring. Pretty battered, so it had to have gotten run over more than once.
Took today off from swimming, although with mixed feelings. I decided to take a nice nap in the afternoon, and ended up sleeping very deeply for about two hours. Well-earned rest. Brian had dog duty, for a change!
